Welcome

We are so grateful you are here.

Life has taken us on unexpected journeys—through faith, healing, family, and hope. In God’s perfect timing, our paths crossed and friendship grew into a love rooted in kindness, peace, and commitment.

We invite you to celebrate the day we begin our forever as husband and wife.

With love, Elsbeth & Nathaniel

A Letter to Our Family & Friends

To the people we love

To our beloved family and dear friends,

Thank you for walking beside us, praying for us, encouraging us, and celebrating this joyful season with us. Your love has helped shape our journey, and having you witness the beginning of our marriage is one of the greatest gifts we could receive.

With all our love, Nathaniel & Elsbeth

Our Story

Two lives, shaped by different journeys, brought together at the right time.

Our story is one of faith, healing, family, friendship, and the quiet certainty that love is not only found—it is chosen, nurtured, and protected every day.

Nathaniel and Elsbeth both come from the same region in the Philippines. Nathaniel hails from Lambunao, Iloilo, while Elsbeth is from Roxas City, Capiz. Their careers later carried them far from home—Nathaniel to the United Kingdom and Elsbeth to the United States.

For many years, their lives unfolded on separate shores. Then, after seasons of change, growth, and healing, a family connection gently brought their paths together.

Our Roots

Two Lives, One Homeland

Though our lives began in neighboring provinces in the Philippines, we did not meet there. Our paths took us into nursing, travel, migration, and lives built across different countries.

A Chance Introduction

While Elsbeth was home in the Philippines, Auntie Nancy—Nathaniel’s colleague in Newcastle—became part of the connection that introduced two lives that had been moving toward the same moment.

Conversations That Felt Like Home

What began with introductions grew through honest conversations, laughter, encouragement, and the kind of understanding that made distance feel smaller.

Growing Together

Adventures, Family, and Everyday Love

Visits became memories: London lights, riverside walks, family meals, quiet evenings, and time spent simply learning how naturally our lives fit together.

Choosing Forever

Home in Each Other

In one another, we found peace, partnership, reciprocity, and commitment. We learned that love is not only about feeling deeply—it is about choosing each other’s welfare every day.

Forever Begins in Copenhagen

At Copenhagen City Hall, surrounded by love and covered in prayer, we will begin the next chapter of our story as husband and wife.

The people who helped bring us together

Our families are part of our love story.

We are deeply grateful to Auntie Nancy and to both of our families, whose encouragement, hospitality, prayers, and love became part of our journey. Our marriage is not only the joining of two people, but the coming together of families and communities who welcomed us with open hearts.

Auntie Nancy & Family

Some people enter a love story quietly, yet their kindness changes everything. We will always be grateful for the role Auntie Nancy and her family played in our beginning, and for the warmth with which they welcomed us into shared meals, celebrations, and new memories.
